SEO Working Process Strategy Step by Step Explanation - 2020

1. Website development: Creation of website, this is not SEO guy job but we should recommend some basic requirements for SEO.

i. Website name should contain maximum of three words.  
ii. Website should have Secure Socket Layer (SSL), HTTPS websites preferred by search engines than only HTTP.
iii. It should be dynamic, must be mobile friendly.
iv. Do not over use JavaScript codes for better website loading speed.
v. Website structure should be organized well, provide easy navigation to inner web pages.

2. Competitor analysis and Keyword research: From here our work starts. We should figure out our top competitor websites by considering our business services and targeted business regions. Here we go through every competitor website and find out what type of content they are providing like blogs, videos, pdfs etc. and including title, meta description, meta keywords, H1, and H2 tags of each page.

Keyword Research: What type of word phrases most people are using in search engines (Google, Yahoo, and Bing etc.) to find services or products that our business provides. We find out those keywords to place them on our website pages. Every page must contain only suitable keywords; if you place same keyword on every page, it will come under duplicate content issue considered as black hat SEO technique by search engine algorithms. So target each page unique keywords mostly use up to 5 keywords for a page.


3. SEO On-page Optimization: It is an activity of optimizing content and HTML source of website pages. Checking major On page optimization factors like web page title, meta description, meta keywords, H1, and H2, canonical URL, image alt attributes and verifying them whether they prepared by search engine guideline rules or not.

i. Title should be between 65 to 70 characters.

Search Engine Submission: After completing on page optimization for each page, we submit a sitemap (XML or HTML) to Google and Bing webmasters to crawl each page, index them on their web servers with in suitable business service categories. Also paste Google analytics code on website home page HTML code (<head> Google Analytics Code </head>) to track the website visitors.

5. Content Marketing: It is a strategic business marketing approach, focused on creating and sharing informative content to attract the customers to drive a profitable consumer action on our website like purchase, filling personal details etc.

We must have blog on our website and frequently (at least 1 blog post per week) update it with latest posts. Popular content types: E-books, Videos, podcasts, Case-studies, info graphs, blogs.

6. Social Media Optimization: We should create popular social media accounts for our business and increase page likes to improve business branding. Social media channels greatly help SEO in reach new customers, build brand authority status, drive traffic to websites, generating leads, sales, enquire user requirements, customer service, and engage with audience for research purposes.

7. SEO Off-page Optimization: It is also called link building technique. We post our web page link on other websites like article, forum, blogs, classifieds, video submission sites etc. Search engines consider all these links as votes and ranks top on search results which ever has highest links.

There are two types of links comes from other sites to our website
i.                   Do Follow back links
ii.                ii. No Follow back links
We should always build links from websites which has domain authority more than 30 and gives Do Follow back links.

8.  Google Analytics, Webmasters report analysis: Finally we have to check traffic sources, their behaviour flow; path of web pages that users visiting on our website, events; user actions with content like playing videos, downloading files from our website in Google analytics and website rankings, top ranking keywords, and back links information in Google webmasters.
